The Grand Cru chocolate is made from the Criollo noble cocoa bean with the designation of origin Maracaibo, Venezuela. The best fine cocoas from top locations, for which farmers receive more than the Fairtrade prize, are processed in a traditional, slow and gentle manner.
This outstanding quality has led to the award "The best chocolate in the world" by the independent "Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani" in a blind tasting.
The Tsvetes is a rose plant that thrives particularly well in the dry, alpine climate in Stanz, Grins and Pians at about 1000 m above sea level. The hillside location of the orchards, countless hours of sunshine, the large temperature differences between day and night, as well as the hair dryer characterize the particularly intense aroma and give the fruit a very high sugar content.
