Dark chocolate filled with natural currants from our garden.
The Grand Cru chocolate is made from the Criollo fine cocoa beans with Designation of Origin Maracaibo, Venezuela. The best fine cocoa from top locations, for which the farmers get more than the Fairtrade price, are processed slowly and gently in the traditional way.
In a blind tasting, this outstanding quality led to the award “The best chocolate in the world” by the independent “Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani”.
The currant is the most acidic fruit we use for our chocolate. It thrives in our garden and is a real vitamin bomb. A third of the kernels are deliberately left in their fullness in order to achieve the slightly “grisly aroma”. .
The chocolate was awarded the gold medal as the world's best couverture.
Ingredients: Dark chocolate 60% (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, Bourbon vanilla) filled with red currants (Ribisl) (red currants from the Vinschgau Valley 26%, sugar, gelling agent: apple pectin, acidifier: citric acid) Cocoa: 66% min. the chocolate.
May contain traces of nuts, almonds and gluten. Store in a cool, dry place protected from light.
