The Grand Cru chocolate is produced from the Criollo noble caravan of Maracaibo, Venezuela. The best quality cocoas, which come from top positions, for which farmers receive more than the fair trade price, are processed in a traditional way, slowly and gently.
This excellent quality has led to the award of "The Best Chocolate in the World" by the independent "Accademia Maestri Pasticceri Italiani" in a blind tasting.
The Martelltal, embedded in the Stilfser National Park, is one of the most beautiful high alpine side valleys of the South Tyrolean Vinschgau. It is also called Beerental. With its cultivation areas at a height of 900 to 1.800m, it is the most important and highest closed growing area of tasty mountain strawberries in Europe. The very high quality is mainly due to the dry and mild climate, warm summer days and cool nights, as well as careful care.
